This letter is a recommendation for the Charlie & Barney's franchise concept and the people behind the concept.

I would begin by stating that the quality of food offered by Charlie & Barney's franchise concept exceeded my expectations. The overall menu offering is a made to order concept which insures a high quality finished product. I truly believe that our 100% pure ground beef cheeseburger is the best around and we receive the same feedback from our valued customers.

In today’s competitive market we are constantly looking for alternatives to drive additional foot traffic into our stores. The Charlie and Barney’s menu offering enables us to provide made to order food for breakfast, lunch and dinner which helps drive traffic into our stores throughout the day. With everything on the menu made to order it allows our customers to spend additional time in our stores to shop around for convenience type items, which adds money to the bottom line.

The success of Charlie & Barney’s is not only due to the food offering but to the people behind the concept. Bill Church and Dick Hogshire have been very professional to work with and were very involved in the planning and opening of our locations. They continue to provide on going support and listen to our feedback and react when necessary on a timely basis.

Dear Prospective Charlie and Barney's Licensee,

I am pleased to be able to write this testimonial on behalf of Charlie and Barney's. The concept is open and operating in one of our 80 lane bowling centers located in Indianapolis, Indiana. We previously had the standard snack bar that offered the usual fare; burgers, tenderloins, hot-dogs and nachos among other items. What really took us by surprise was teh relatively low-cost of entry into the branded food service market.

Charlie and Barney's is a significantly lower investment than other branded food service alternatives. In our situation, already serving foods that required a grill, fryers and having refrigeration onsite, meant the equipment package that was needed was minimal and the process of converting to Charlie and Barney's brand was simple.

Changing out the previously prepared items to Charlie and Barney products is seamless. Training is comprehensive and support by the Charlie and Barney's staff is solid. The conversion took one day for the product introduction and the snack bar staff responded well to the training. Simple procedures for a quality product are the key here.

Flexibility, ease of operation, low cost of entry and quality food from a recognized brand are the reasons we converted our established food service program to Charlie and Barney's, and we are pleased that we did so.
