Bill Church, Hogshire’s Partner and Charlie & Barney’s President, explains the opportunities for the recent growth.” Charlie & Barney’s provides a high quality, name branded foodservice solutions for these C-store owners. We are a restaurant inside of the store. We serve restaurant quality food in a very short amount of time and this is perfect for the c-store customer on the go…high quality and fast.”
For folks not familiar with the central Indiana long time chain, Charlie & Barney’s has offered award winning chili and great hand-packed cheeseburgers from two locations downtown since 1977. Famous for the chili and the burgers that have been called “the best in town”. Church was very excited to point out that he has just reached an agreement with hotdog giant “Nathan’s Famous” of Coney Island, New York to begin offering the Nathan’s all-beef hotdog in all Charlie & Barney’s units beginning in mid-July. “Can you imagine a Nathan’s Famous loaded with our award winning beef chili? That is what I call a delicious chili dog!” Church added.
